Blessing of the Pets and Microchip Clinic on Oct. 12

Dog of week 10-5-13-250In honor of St. Francis of Assisi Day, the Georgetown Animal Shelter will hold a Blessing of the Pets and free microchip clinic on Saturday, October 12 from 9 to 11 a.m. The blessing held at the shelter will begin at 9 a.m.

Low-cost vaccinations for dogs and cats also will be offered at the clinic.

All dogs must be on a leash and cats should be in a carrier.

Microchips will be implanted at no charge.

Rabies shots will be available for $5, DHPP vaccine for dogs for $10, and Bordetella vaccine for dogs for $5. FVRCP for cats will be available for $10.

Payment is by cash or check only. (Debit or credit cards not accepted.)

The Georgetown Animal Shelter is located at 110 W.L. Walden Drive next to the McMaster Athletic Fields.
