Sip, Savor, Shop for Valentine’s at Swirl on Feb. 12

‘Savor the Georgetown Square’ Billboards on I-35

The Georgetown Square is the subject of a new marketing campaign that started December 10. Messages on three existing billboards along Interstate 35 encourage drivers to stop and “Savor the Georgetown Square.”

Firefighters Donate to Breast Cancer Resource Centers

The Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas accepted a check for $4,500 on Tuesday from the Georgetown Association of Professional Firefighters. The donation was a result of money raised from the Pink Heals Tour stop in Georgetown this fall. Georgetown firefighters raised money through the sale of 1,000 special Pink Heals T-shirts.
