Spring Break at the Georgetown Public Library

February 21st, 2012 by

The library will have some special programs March 12-15, during the week of spring break.

Monday, March 12 – Lego Party – 1-4 p.m.

Tuesday, March 13 – Art Day – 10 a.m. -1 p.m.

Thursday, March 15 – Talent Show – 10 a.m. -12

The children’s tea party, which is always the highlight of the library’s spring break events, will be Wednesday, March 14. Thanks to a generous donation by the tea party’s angels, Angie and Roger Wright, we are able to continue this traditional event, which gets larger every year. So that we can accommodate everyone who wants to attend, this year there will be two seatings: one at 10 a.m. and one at 2 p.m. There will be 150 places at each seating. Tickets for the event are free, but you MUST have a ticket to attend either seating. Tickets are not interchangeable—your ticket will be for a specific seating.

Tickets will be available March 1 through March 12 and may be picked up at the desk in the Children’s Room. You will need to know which seating you’d like to attend and how many tickets you’ll need. Adults as well as children must have tickets. We hope you’ll join us for this special event!
