Special Feline Friend Fee

Share

May 28th, 2010 by Shawn G

Through the end of June, adult cats of 1 year or older may be adopted for a special adoption fee of $25.

The Animal Shelter is offering the discount in the hopes that some people will adopt an adult rather than one of the dozens of kittens at the shelter right now.  Kittens usually have no difficulties finding homes because they are so cute.  With adults, however, your curtains are more likely to survive intact.

Many adult cats are still playful and curious.  Others are independent and require less one-on-one time.  By adopting an adult cat, you will have a better idea of how he or she will interact with you.

The fee includes spaying/neutering, annual vaccination plus rabies vaccination, microchip and a small bag of cat food.
