Jim Fain & A Premium Blend, at the Library Feb. 21

Share

February 3rd, 2010 by Judy Fabry

Our audience loved Jim Fain’s romantic guitar music last February so we’ve invited him back. He’ll be here on Sunday, February 21, from 2 to 4 p.m., with A Premium Blend (cellist Julia Cory and pianist Brenda Bedell) and an expanded repertoire. This year they will perform some Spanish and flamenco guitar pieces and some tangos, both Argentine and nuevo. Jim is working on a debut CD that he’ll release later this year with music ranging from Middle Eastern and gypsy melodies to a fusion of flamenco and world elements. You may get to hear some of his work-in-progress!

Jim Fain and A Premium Blend’s performance is part of our ongoing series of live music events, this one sponsored by the Friends of the Library. These programs are casual, come-and-go affairs in the library lobby, but if you want to take a seat for the whole show, we’d love to have you.
