QuickStart Jamboree August 15 at the Georgetown Tennis Center

Georgetown Citizen Academy Grads

Seventeen Georgetown residents completed an eight-week Georgetown Citizen Academy program this spring and summer. The graduates were recognized by the City Council at the July 28 meeting. Participants learned about all aspects of the City of Georgetown organization, visited city facilities, and learned about the workings of the various City departments from City staff.

Movie in the Park Postponed until next Thursday, August 6

San Gabriel River Dries Up: Photos

US Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus Concert

Residents Asked to Stagger Irrigation Start Times

Water usage was down by 20 percent citywide on Monday to about 20 million gallons. This may indicate that residents are getting the message to use less water and to avoid any outdoor watering on Mondays, which serve as a “re-charge” day for City water storage tanks.

Ban Lifted on Outdoor Water Use in Southwest Georgetown

Effective at 12 noon, Monday July 20, the City of Georgetown is lifting the mandatory no-watering restriction for its customers in southwestern Georgetown.

No Outdoor Water Use in Southwest Georgetown
