Donate Blood Friday, July 10 at the Georgetown Recreation Center

Save a life - donate blood!

The Georgetown Recreation Center, in conjunction with the Scott & White Blood Mobile, will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, July 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All participants who donate blood will receive a free meal from Sonic, as well as free chips & guacamole courtesy of Chipotle! Eligibility Requirements:
-You must be at least 17 years old and in good health
-Please eat a good meal prior to donation
-You must weigh at least 110 pounds
-Blood pressure – below 180/100 (checked free of charge)
-Temperature – within normal limits (checked free of charge)
-Hematocrit – at least 38 percent (checked free of charge)
-Pulse – 500-100 bpm (checked free of charge)
