Tired of doing the same old thing? Try Cardio Tennis for a new, fun workout!

The Georgetown Tennis Center is excited to announce the launch of a new program – GTC Cardio Tennis! It is a tennis workout  – with a twist. Cardio Tennis is a new and fun group activity, featuring drills to give participants of all abilities an ultimate, high energy workout. No tennis experience is necessary! Cardio Tennis combines traditional aspects of the game, such as hitting balls, with rapid-fire drills that elevate the base heart rate and improve overall fitness. The workouts take various forms, but most feature high-intensity exercise followed by periods of rest.

Cardio Tennis is now offered at the Georgetown Tennis Center on Saturdays from 8:30 am – 9:30 am, with a fee of $10/session for residents or $12/session for nonresidents. We will be offering free demo classes at the Georgetown Recreation Center on  Tuesday, June 16 & Thursday, June 18 from Noon-1 pm. Please pre-register at the Georgetown Recreation Center (front desk) so that we may get a head count.

Stop by and give it a try! It’s a great way to stay fit while having fun! Please call 512-931-2444 for more information.
