Georgetown Skate Park Has Re-opened
The Georgetown Skate Park is now open, after being closed for the past few weeks due to vandalism. Thank you for your patience as we made repairs to the facility. The Skate Park, located in San Gabriel Park at 449 E. Morrow, is open from 8 am – 9 pm daily.

British Soccer Camp Coming to Georgetown!

Brent Schacherl Appointed Interim Police Chief
The Georgetown City Council has approved Brent Schacherl as interim police chief at tonight’s city council meeting. Schacherl has been a lieutenant in the Georgetown Police Department since 2001. He started with the department in 1996 and has been a peace officer since 1994.

Memorial Day Service at Veterans Memorial May 25

Seasonal Insect Abatement Begins
To control mosquitoes and other insects in the summer months, the City of Georgetown Streets Department will be applying an insecticide fogger to trees along residential streets and in parks. The insecticide fogging will be done in the early morning hours between 12:00 and 5:00 a.m.
