Donations Needed: Benefit Sale for Animal Shelter
Doing some spring cleaning? If you’ve got new or gently-used items in your home, consider helping out our homeless animals by donating them to the Garage Sale fundraiser benefitting the City of Georgetown Animal Shelter, now in its 10th year.
Bring donations to the Georgetown Animal Shelter between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, or on Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m. Donation receipts are available upon request.
Furniture, decorator items, bicycles, antiques, and collector items are good items to donate says Jackie Carey, animal shelter supervisor and coordinator for the annual sale. Note that clothing items and computer equipment are not accepted.
The 10th annual Georgetown Animal Shelter Garage Sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 3 & 4 at the Community Center in San Gabriel Park. Sale hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
All proceeds benefit homeless animals at the Georgetown Animal Shelter.
Bring donations to the Georgetown Animal Shelter at 110 W.L. Walden Drive, which is near the McMaster Athletic Complex parking lot on N. College Street.
You may contact the shelter by phone at (512) 930-3592 or by email at animalsvc@georgetowntx.org.
