You may do so at some time in the future, if your well or septic tank fail. At that time you would pay the service connection fee. You will be responsible for running the service (installing the line) from your residence/structure to the service line. If you cannot attend the public hearings and you want to comment on the proposed annexation of your property, you may have someone speak for you. They will simply have to attend one or both of the public hearings, and fill out the registration form available in the Council Chamber and present it to the City Secretary at the time of the meeting. The registration will be given to the Mayor and he will recognize the speaker at the appropriate time. You may also send written comments addressed to my attention or the Mayor (George Garver) at the following address: P.O. Box 1458, Georgetown, Texas 78627-1458. Please identify which annexation area in which you are located in any correspondence (this can be found in the second sentence of the opening paragraph of the letter sent to you dated August 4, 2008 or on the location map sent to you at that time. I will place your letter in the binder containing the service plan and back-up information for the annexation area. A copy of that binder will go to all City Council members for the public hearings. Who has to pay for city hook ups from my house to the connections?? If it is me, are they going to have some type of payment plan?? I have well water and a septic tank on my property. There is no way that I'm not going to be able to pay for the hook up connections up front out of pocket!!
