After several meetings, units from the 4th Infantry Division were matched with cities in Williamson County. Georgetown was matched with the 2-4 Aviation Battalion for the Adopt-a-Unit Program. I'm not aware of any City of Georgetown employees or family members in the 2-4 Aviation Battalion, or that this was a factor in assigning units. Also, I don't know who it was at the City that spoke with you, but I'd be happy to talk with you further about the program. Since it just got started, many City employees may have been unaware of it. Does a family member from the 2-4 AVN work for the city?
