I-35 Lane Closures on July 9 & 10

Updated: Two northbound main lanes will be closed on Interstate 35 at Texas 29/University Avenue in Georgetown starting at 7:00 in the evening on Wednesday, July 9. The lanes will be closed until 6:00 in the morning on Thursday, July 10. One northbound lane will remain open at all times.

The two southbound main lanes will be closed on Interstate 35 at Texas 29 starting at 7:00 in the evening on Thursday, July 10. The lanes will be closed until 6:00 in the morning on Friday, July 11. One southbound lane will remain open at all times.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the lane closures are for construction work on the turnaround structures at Texas 29/University Avenue.

The two turnaround structures at Texas 29 are scheduled to be completed in late August.
