Voluntary Annexation Public Hearing Notice

The City of Georgetown is considering voluntary requests for annexation for the Madison Georgetown Property and Sun City Neighborhood 61. A Public Hearing will be held at the April 8th City Council Meeting and the April 22nd City Council Meeting. The Meetings will be held at the City Council Chambers, 101 E. 7th Street, at the northeast corner of Seventh and Main Streets, beginning at 6:00 PM. The areas being considered for annexation are:

72.89 acres, more or less, in the J. Thompson Survey, Abstract 608, for Weir Ranch, north of RR 2243 and west of the River Estates Subdivision.

After the required public hearings, the City Council will consider ordinances for the voluntary annexations at their May 13th and May 27th City Council Meetings. These Meetings will be held at the City Council Chambers, 101 E. 7th Street, at the northeast corner of Seventh and Main Streets, beginning at 6:00 PM.
